I always arrive at least 60 minutes before my set to sound-check with your PA system, making sure my highs and lows hit perfectly whether we are in a massive open field or a compact venue. I approach a high-energy set like an experiment. Every crowd has a unique frequency, and my job is to find it. Whether you are hosting a local festival in Tripura or an event further afield, I do not just play tracks. I read the room, adjusting the tempo and genre in real-time to match the energy levels. My signature sound is a blend of contrasts. I might take a 90s Bollywood classic and layer it over a driving psy-trance beat, or mix regional rap with heavy hip-hop. This approach keeps the set unpredictable and engaging for guests who want something more than a standard playlist. **What you can expect from my performance:** * **Genre-Bending Mashups:** From psy-trance to regional rap, I specialize in unexpected blends that keep people guessing what is coming next. * **Technical Precision:** I bring my own Pioneer DJ system (XDJ/DDJ) and MacBook. I know the tech inside out, so I can handle complex audio routing seamlessly. * **Crowd Engagement:** I use the microphone to hype the room, coordinate countdowns, and build the energy during peak moments. * **Flexibility:** If you have a specific theme, like a Retro night or Halloween party, I prepare my library beforehand to ensure the music aligns with your vision. My goal is to create a moment that resonates, not just noise. If you want a DJ for your festival, club night, or large-scale party who cares as much about the technical flow as the crowd's reaction, let's talk. ## About Rislyn Debbarma I split my days between medical research and the DJ booth, so I approach every set with both technical precision and a love for the chaos of a good party. Whether it is a raucous festival stage or an intimate dance floor, I am just here to make sure we all lose ourselves in the music.
