I bring my custom-made edits, like my 'Akhiyaan Gulaab' Bolly-tech cut or 'Barbie Girl x Acid' mashups, directly into your mix. These are not just generic tracks you can download online; they are exclusive sounds designed to build tension and create massive drops, ensuring your party has a unique pulse that keeps the energy locked in from start to finish. ### Why Bolly-Tech? Most DJs play the same version of a track you hear on the radio. My Bolly-tech sets are different. I take the Bollywood vocals everyone knows and loves, then layer them over hard-hitting techno and tech-house beats. It creates a sound that is both nostalgic and modern, perfect for keeping a crowd engaged for hours. ### The Studio Process Every track in my library is treated. Before I play a song at a venue like Vapour or Badmaash, I spend time in my home studio adjusting the EQ, tightening the percussion, and making sure the drops land perfectly on a high-wattage club system. This attention to detail is why my sets feel like a mini-concert rather than just background music. ### Customizing for Your Crowd I don't play the same set twice. If your wedding crowd wants more Kannada chartbusters, I mix them into the flow. If your corporate event needs a mix of commercial pop and desi beats, I adapt the energy levels. My goal is to read the room and adjust the BPM and genre to match exactly what your guests are feeling. ### Technical Requirements To make this sound work, I perform best with a professional club-standard setup. I prefer Pioneer CDJ 3000s and a high-wattage PA system with dedicated sub-bass reinforcement. If you are hosting at a private venue, let me know, and I can advise on the equipment rental to make sure the bass hits hard. ### Frequently Asked Questions * **Can you play non-Bolly-tech music?** Yes, I run open-format sets that span from Deep House to Punjabi hits. The Bolly-tech remixes are my signature, but I can adapt to any vibe. * **Do you take requests?** I love reading the crowd, but I manage requests to ensure they fit the flow of the set. ## About Darshan K Shetty I am DJ DKS, and I live for the drop.
