My focus shifts to selecting tracks—think Afro House or upbeat Bollywood—that keep the energy light while people are eating or getting mehendi done. It is all about building a background soundscape that feels present but lets your guests talk, laugh, and enjoy the sunshine without needing to shout over the speakers. Daytime events like mehendi functions, pool parties, or garden ceremonies need a completely different approach than a high-energy Sangeet night. When the sun is out, the music needs to breathe. I handle the audio balance carefully, ensuring the mix complements the environment rather than competing with it. Whether I am playing at a palace in Udaipur or a lawn in Delhi, the goal remains the same: music that flows. ### The Daytime Vibe I rely on a mix of sounds that bridge the gap between chill and celebratory. Think melodic house, breezy Bollywood acoustic covers, and tracks that keep people tapping their feet without burning out the energy too early. If you want a more dynamic sound, I often integrate live elements. Imagine a saxophone player drifting through the crowd or a percussionist adding organic rhythm to the digital mix. It turns the set into a live performance that feels sophisticated and organic. ### Technical Precision Day events are outdoors more often than not. I bring compact, high-quality audio equipment that handles open-air acoustics well, preventing that hollow sound you sometimes get in wide, uncontained spaces. My setup includes industry-standard Pioneer gear to ensure seamless transitions, regardless of whether the event is poolside or on a lawn. I take care of the technical logistics, including sound checks and syncing with any live musicians, so you have one less thing to worry about. ## About Ajay Nautiyal I’m Ajay.
