I use specific shock-resistant gear and redundant laptop setups to ensure that even when the road gets bumpy or the generator fluctuates, the music never skips a beat. My Baraat sets are strictly high-energy—no slow tracks, just pure Punjabi and Bollywood anthems to keep the procession moving. ### The Mobile Setup Playing for a Baraat requires a completely different approach than a stationary DJ set. You need equipment that can handle movement, vibrations, and outdoor power variances. I utilize compact, shock-resistant DJ controllers specifically for mobile vehicles, ensuring that the transition from a bumpy road to a standstill doesn't interrupt your flow. ### Why Song Choice Matters For a Baraat, the goal is kinetic energy. I curate a 100% high-energy playlist—mostly Bollywood and Punjabi bangers—that syncs with the dhol players on the ground. I avoid slow-tempo songs because the Baraat is the kickoff event; it needs to be high-octane from the first minute to the last. ### Technical Reliability Power fluctuations are the biggest enemy of outdoor mobile DJ setups. I carry redundant laptop backups to handle any potential generator issues, ensuring the music keeps playing regardless of the power supply. My price for Baraat services includes the console and the mixing, allowing us to patch directly into your sound wall. ### Logistics & Planning Whether it's a destination wedding in a palace in Udaipur or a street procession in Delhi, I coordinate closely with the groom’s entourage and the ground dhol players. - **Pre-Event Sync:** I verify the rath or truck setup in advance to ensure the DJ console is positioned for maximum crowd engagement. - **Interaction:** I don't just stay behind the deck; I use the mic to hype the crowd and communicate with the dhol team to drop beats at the right moments. - **Travel:** I am ready to travel anywhere in India. My Baraat setup is portable, making it easy to integrate with your existing venue sound wall. ## About Ajay Nautiyal I’m Ajay. When it comes to the Baraat, I don’t just hit play. I’m out there in the mix, hyping up the crowd and keeping that energy high from the start to the mandap. It’s about being part of the celebration, not just the guy behind the deck.
