But true control comes from silence and observation. Before I touch a fader, I am watching the room. If I can match that heartbeat, the music stops being background noise and starts being a shared memory. That is the difference between a playlist and a live experience. It started in the backyard in '96. I was 16, just playing with speakers, bluffing to friends that I was a real DJ. I did not have the skills then, but I had the confidence. That 28-year road has taken me from local house parties to stadium stages and high-octane IPL matches. I call myself an architect of a vibe because that is exactly what I do. Whether it is a luxury wedding in Udaipur or a corporate summit in Delhi, my approach does not change. I do not just play tracks. I read the room. I look for the shifts in energy. I watch the faces. I believe creativity comes from a spiritual place. When I am on the console, I close my eyes and ask a question. The music provides the answer. This is why I advocate for the #ComeCloser style—no high stages, no barriers. Just me, the console, and the crowd. If you are an aspiring DJ, here is my advice: stop worrying about the latest gear. Invest in your ears. Learn to network. Build your brand. But most importantly, play what connects. You are not there to flex your taste.
