Shivkumar Sharma ji, the impact goes far beyond a photograph. These interactions offer quiet lessons in humility, focus, and the deep discipline required to keep the tradition alive. This energy directly influences how I approach my own riyaaz, ensuring that every time I sit with my Tabla or Pakhavaj, I bring that same standard of dedication to your event. The life of a musician is built on years of practice, but the guidance of a guru is what truly defines the journey. Being in the presence of masters has taught me that music is a lifelong study. It is not just about the technical perfection of a Delhi Kaida or a complex Pakhavaj bol; it is about the honesty you bring to the instrument. ### What these moments mean Each interaction is a lesson in humility. Seeing how these masters handle a performance, interact with the audience, or even carry themselves backstage has changed my own practice. They have taught me that the music is larger than the artist. ### Impact on my work When you hire me for your event, you are not just getting a percussionist who knows the technical requirements for Hindustani Classical or fusion music. You are getting someone who understands the weight of this tradition. Whether I am playing for a private mehfil or a large auditorium concert in Delhi NCR, I carry that same respect and discipline into every performance. ### My musical philosophy I consider myself a student of rhythm. My performances are aimed at keeping this legacy alive, whether through solo Tabla recitals or supporting vocalists in a ghazal setup. If you are looking for a performance that is grounded in classical tradition but adaptable for modern venues, I would be honored to share my music with you. ## About Divyanshu Kumar I am Divyanshu, a Tabla and Pakhavaj artist based in Delhi.
