For me, Mysore painting is not just an art - it’s devotion. When I sit down to paint devaru like Ganesha or Lakshmi, it’s like connecting with something bigger. With 35+ years of experience, I want to share this feeling with you, whether you’re a beginner or already dabbling in Indian art.

### How I Teach - Kannada + English

I teach all classes live in Kannada - but wait, don’t worry! My daughter Amulya is right there translating into English, so anyone can join. We use a special camera focused on my hands, so every brushstroke and step is clear.

Nanu Raghavendra, Bengaluru nalli Mysore painting artist. Nange ee kale tumba ishta (I love this art a lot). 35 years ninda idu naanu maadta iddini. Slow agi, brushes jothe, gesso haaki, gold leaf hakta, meditation thara. Namma parampara, ancestors inda bandide. Karnataka State Award sigide, blessing thara anisuthe. My daughter Amulya helps with online stuff, English translation kooda. Sometimes I try new ideas - Elon Musk portrait kooda maadide! But, best part? When my painting sits in someone’s pooja room, it feels like sharing a blessing.
