This is how I turned a quiet hobby into a full-time mural practice in Pune. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A few facts about me that might not match my profile. That simple curiosity taught me that you don't need a degree to be an artist. You just need the patience to practice, a steady hand, and a willingness to start with the basics. My path hasn't been a straight line. Coming from a commerce background, I spent plenty of time doubting whether I could actually turn my love for doodles into a career. Those early days weren't about grand visions; they were about finding peace in the repetitive, rhythmic nature of mandala patterns. Once I started sharing my work, I realized I wasn't the only one looking for a creative outlet. That led me from sketching in a corner to painting large-scale murals for offices and cafes across Pune. Along the way, I’ve had the joy of teaching thousands of students, from corporate teams looking for a digital detox to beginners attending my weekend art brunches. I believe that art is for everyone. Whether you're booking a mural for your office or joining one of my workshops, my process remains the same: mindful, patient, and hands-on. I handle everything from the grid construction to the final filler patterns, ensuring you have a stress-free experience. If you’ve ever wanted to explore mandala art but felt intimidated by the blank page, I’m here to show you how we start with the simplest dot. ## About Disha Daga Hi, I'm Disha. I swapped spreadsheets for sketchbooks, and it’s the best choice I ever made. I’m a Pune-based muralist and educator who believes that if I can teach myself this craft, you can absolutely learn to create your own magic, too.
