We create space for poems to show up. You might find yourself reading a line of Faiz in Sanjay Van or sharing a zine over tea in a quiet bookstore, surrounded by people who are there to listen, not to judge. It is the rhythm of the room, the scent of the paper, and the silence between lines that matters most. Whether it is an intimate poetry salon for 15 people or a guided healing walk through Delhi's green lungs like Sanjay Van, my approach remains consistent. I work to de-pedestalize poetry. It should not be something you observe from afar, but something you hold. My salons are grounded in the city’s rhythm. We meet in bookstores, galleries, and private studios, keeping the group small so everyone has room to breathe. When we gather to discuss a poet like Ocean Vuong or Tagore, the conversation flows beyond the text. It touches on grief, identity, and the specific quiet of a Delhi afternoon. The Lyrical Walks are where this deepens. We use nature as our classroom, letting the silence of the forest amplify the words we read. These sessions are designed to be accessible. You do not need to be a literature student or a published writer to belong. If you are curious, or if you simply need a space to reflect, you are here for the right reason. Beyond the salons, I frequently collaborate with musicians and visual artists. You might find us performing a trilingual reading of Gibran or hosting an Artist's Pharmacy where we craft zines and perform to support causes like the UNHCR. This is about community—queer, beginner, artist, or skeptic—all finding a portal in verse. If you are looking to host a private gathering, we can customize the theme, select the poems, and set the tone with specific prompts and atmosphere. It is about creating a moment of connection that stays with you long after the reading ends. ## About Rachit Sharma I am Rachit, and I believe poetry belongs in our bones, not just on a shelf. I create spaces—whether in forests or quiet rooms—where we can stop performing and start feeling, together.
