Every deck or pergola we build is measured to fit your specific floor plan, ensuring the space feels like a natural extension of your home rather than an afterthought. Creating an outdoor living area in a city like Delhi requires balancing aesthetics with the realities of the local climate. Our approach focuses on making your terrace or backyard a space you will actually use, not just a patch of greenery to look at from behind a glass door. ### The Essentials of Outdoor Comfort **Pergolas & Shade:** We construct custom pergolas using durable materials that stand up to both the peak summer sun and the monsoon. A well-placed pergola doesn't just look good; it creates a defined 'room' outside, providing the shade necessary to enjoy your garden during the day. **Flooring & Hardscaping:** We frequently use WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) decking for seating zones. It provides the warmth of wood without the high maintenance of constant polishing or the risk of warping. For pathways or dining areas, we integrate natural stone, which stays cooler than tile and adds texture to the ground level. **Lighting for Atmosphere:** Lighting is what changes a space from a garden to an evening lounge. We install layered ambient lighting—spike lights for trees, strip lighting under benches, and soft overhead globes—so you can entertain guests well past sunset. ### Practical Maintenance We avoid the trap of 'zero-maintenance' claims because we know they aren't realistic. Instead, we select hardy, native plants that thrive in our climate and design layouts that make cleaning easy—like ensuring proper drainage on terraces and using washable fabrics for outdoor seating. If you want a space that looks sharp but doesn't require a full-time gardener, we focus on hardscaping and structured, architectural plants that hold their shape with minimal intervention. ## About Dilkhush Landscaping We are Dilkhush Landscaping, a team that finds genuine joy in flipping forgotten corners into spots you actually want to spend time in.
