This ensures the composition and likeness feel right to you before I commit to the final colours or fine lines. It is my way of making sure the art feels truly yours from the start. ### How We Bring It to Life I treat every portrait as a story, not just a drawing. My process is simple and transparent, designed to make the experience as joyful as the final piece. **My Mediums & Approach** For custom portraits, I mostly work with watercolours, soft pastels, or ink on high-quality 300 GSM acid-free paper. * **Pastels:** Great for capturing soft skin tones and a warm, dreamy feel. * **Watercolours & Ink:** Perfect for that classic, expressive sketch look, especially for my urban sketching style. **The Process** * **Rough Draft:** As mentioned, we start with a pencil sketch. You get to see the composition before I add layers. * **Preservation:** Once finished, I apply a matte fixative spray to all pastel and charcoal works. This prevents smudging so your portrait stays clean and crisp over time. * **Ready to Frame:** I deliver all paper illustrations secured between hardboards and waterproof wrapping. They arrive ready for you to take to your local framer. **Where I Work** I am based in Mantova Tower, Sector 78, Noida, but I happily take on portrait commissions across the National Capital Region and Indore. Whether you are looking for a singular portrait, a family sketch, or a stylized caricature based on a cherished photo, I am here to help. Art should make you smile. Simple hai (it is simple). If you have a specific reference photo or a memory you want to preserve, reach out and we can figure out the best style to match your vibe. ## About Dikshita Jain I am Dikshita.
