Our classes follow a traditional baithak seating style, allowing students to sit comfortably with their instruments or notebooks. This relaxed environment is designed to help you focus on the technical swar and lay required for Prayag Sangeet Samiti certifications, while keeping the pressure of performance at bay until you are ready. ### Theory Meets Practice Learning music is often romanticized, but real progress happens when you balance the magic of performance with the rigor of theory. At Dhwani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, we believe that understanding the 'why' behind the 'how' is what turns a hobbyist into a musician. Our classroom sessions in Sector 56 are structured to bridge this gap: * **Structured Certification:** We prepare students for formal exams through Prayag Sangeet Samiti. This involves dedicated theory classes where you learn notation, ragas, and the history behind the music. * **Practical Application:** Theory is useless if it stays on paper. Every session includes hands-on practice, whether it’s vocal riyaz or instrument training. Our teachers provide constant feedback, correcting your posture, pitch, and breathing in real-time. * **Small Batch Focus:** We keep our groups between 4 to 8 students. This ensures that every individual gets personal attention from our gurus. It is not just about moving through the syllabus; it is about ensuring you actually grasp the technique before we move forward. ### Why Our Learning Environment Works We focus on 'mehnat' (hard work). You will see this in the way we conduct our baithaks. By sitting at the same level as our students, our gurus break down the hierarchy of the classroom, creating a safe space for you to make mistakes. Whether you are an adult looking for a creative outlet after work or a parent enrolling your child for vocal training, you will find a consistent, professional, and supportive routine. We provide both offline studio sessions and online classes, so your learning doesn't have to stop if you're traveling or short on time. ## About Dhwani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya We’re the Dhwani family, and for us, music is life.
