This means selecting Raags that resonate with a formal, serene atmosphere—often leaning into melodic Raags like Des or Yaman—while ensuring volume levels are perfectly balanced for conversation and protocol. My sound check is more rigorous here; I work closely with your event's AV team to ensure the sitar cuts through ambient noise without ever overpowering the room's energy. High-stakes events like the G20 or BIMSTEC summits demand more than just technical skill; they require cultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of protocol. I treat every diplomatic assignment as a curated experience. Before the first note is played, I consult with event organizers to understand the guest demographic. For global leaders, I often blend traditional Indian classical music with subtle elements that bridge cultural gaps, creating a soundscape that is both distinctively Indian and globally appreciative. Diplomacy has its own rhythm. I am accustomed to the strict timelines of summit programs, whether it's a 15-minute showcase or an hour-long set. My setups are minimalist and clean, designed to blend into upscale venues like the ITC Bharat or corporate boardrooms. I arrive early to coordinate with the sound engineer, ensuring the acoustic warmth of the sitar is translated accurately through the PA system. My work for corporate entities, including Google and Daikin, follows a similar rigor. Whether you need ambient background music for a strategy workshop or a featured performance for a gala dinner, I ensure the music facilitates, rather than dictates, the environment. From Raag-based improvisation to light instrumental fusion, every element is chosen to elevate the dignity of your occasion. By providing high-quality, professional Sitar performance, I help set a tone of elegance and cultural depth for corporate event entertainment and diplomatic event music. ## About Dhruv Bedi I view the sitar as a vessel for tradition, but I am equally comfortable performing on stages that host world leaders. My music is about finding that calm center, whether I am playing for a small group or a global summit.
