A great performance requires more than just musical skill; it demands coordination, precise sound checks, and professional stage management. I understand that for your event, the music must seamlessly integrate with the venue and the crowd, and this is the discipline I bring to every booking, whether it is an intimate house concert or a large corporate stage. My performance history spans a wide spectrum, from prestigious platforms like the India Habitat Centre and SPIC MACAY educational series to corporate gatherings at Google and international diplomatic events like the G20 and BIMSTEC summits. This variety has taught me how to adapt my approach without compromising the integrity of the Sitar. ### Why Live Experience Matters When you hire a performer, you are not just paying for the notes played; you are paying for their ability to command a room and handle the technicalities of live sound. My experience includes: * **Adaptability:** I am comfortable switching between a meditative, acoustic set for a small baithak and a high-energy fusion performance with a full band for a concert hall. * **Technical Readiness:** I perform with a standard technical rider and am experienced in coordinating with house sound engineers to ensure the sitar’s delicate acoustics are balanced correctly against backing tracks or percussion. * **Educational Engagement:** Through my work with SPIC MACAY, I have developed the ability to break down complex raags into accessible introductions, perfect for audiences who may be new to Indian classical music. Whether you are planning a corporate reception that requires background music or a formal classical recital for connoisseurs, my stage experience ensures that the musical element of your event is handled with total professionalism. I arrive early to balance the sound, respect the event timeline, and ensure the music adds value to your occasion without causing friction. ## About Dhruv Bedi I treat every stage as a space to connect, whether it is a quiet gathering in a drawing room or a grand festival hall. My goal is to keep the sitar’s legacy alive while ensuring the music fits perfectly into the setting you have created.
