For any booking, I arrive 45 to 60 minutes prior to the start time to handle sound balancing, ensuring the acoustics are perfectly tuned for the venue, be it a quiet living room or an open-air concert stage. My musical practice is grounded in the Hindustani classical tradition, yet I adapt my performance to the specific needs of your event. For corporate dinners, diplomatic receptions, or upscale weddings, I provide subtle, conversation-friendly background music that weaves together semi-classical ragas and familiar melodies. Conversely, for festivals and high-energy gatherings, I shift to a contemporary soundscape, leading a fusion ensemble with drums and keys to bring the electric sitar to life. Having performed at international summits and festivals, I understand the technical discipline required for a seamless show. I bring my own instruments and coordinate with sound engineers to manage the backline requirements, allowing you to focus on your guests. My aim is to make classical music accessible and engaging, regardless of whether we are in a concert hall or a private home. ## About Dhruv Bedi I am Dhruv Bedi, a sitar artist dedicated to both the sanctity of classical music and the excitement of modern fusion. I believe music is a shared experience, whether I am playing for a stadium crowd or a few friends in a living room.
