## About Additional Performance Moments

When I perform, I prioritize audio clarity and presence, ensuring that the subtle nuances of the sitar carry whether the venue is an intimate hall or an open lawn. My performance style varies from meditative alaap to lively jugalbandi, and I am happy to discuss how we can best arrange the sound setup to suit your venue acoustics.

Music is a conversation, and these images capture the moments when the sitar speaks most clearly. Whether it is the intensity of a live concert at the Constitution Club or a quiet, focused studio session, I aim to create an atmosphere where the audience can connect with the tradition of Hindustani classical music.

### Performance Philosophy
I believe in keeping the art honest. This means that for every performance, I tailor the repertoire to the mood of the occasion. For smaller gatherings or intimate house concerts (baithaks), a solo performance or a traditional jugalbandi with a tabla player works beautifully. For larger, modern events, I often integrate fusion elements or collaborate with additional musicians to suit the scale of the gathering.

### Technical Considerations
When planning a performance, sound reinforcement is key. A sitar is a delicate acoustic instrument. I work closely with event teams to ensure that microphones are balanced properly, so you get a rich, authentic sitar tone without the harsh resonance often heard in outdoor or large hall sound systems. My goal is to maintain the purity of the Raag while ensuring the music fits the rhythm of your event seamlessly.

### My Approach to Gigs
I am based in Delhi-NCR and am accustomed to performing across a variety of settings. From high-level diplomatic summits like the G20 to private house parties, I bring the same level of discipline and professional preparation. If you are looking for a musical performance that respects the depth of classical training while remaining accessible to your guests, I am ready to discuss how we can create that experience together.

## About Dhruv Bedi

I have dedicated my life to the sitar, treating every performance as an opportunity to share the heritage of Indian classical music. I focus on keeping the art honest, whether I am playing at a formal summit or a private gathering at your home.
