I design these spaces to be welcoming, professional, and clear reflections of your brand's personality. ## Photos and videos - ![The reception area at Shiva Group's head office, designed to make a lasting first impression. Too bright feels like a hospital, while poor lighting makes a professional space look uninviting. I use profile and cove lighting to create a warm, professional glow that makes visitors feel at ease the moment they walk in, while ensuring the reception desk remains functional for your staff. A reception area is more than just a desk and a few chairs. It is a critical component of your brand identity. In my experience working on projects like the Shiva Group headoffice in Bhandup, the best waiting areas balance aesthetics with durability. ### Why Design Matters Clients form their first opinion of your business in the first few seconds of entering your office. I use architectural elements like custom mouldings and classic archways to create a sense of structure without closing off the space. These details add character to standard office layouts. ### Materials & Function - **Flooring:** I recommend high-gloss GVT tiles or polished marble for high-traffic reception zones. They look premium and are much easier to clean than carpet, which traps dust and stains over time. - **Seating:** I prioritize comfort and fabric durability. In my designs, I choose armchairs that offer firm support, ensuring that a long wait doesn't feel uncomfortable for your visitors. - **Hidden Wiring:** A cluttered reception desk kills the professional vibe. I plan for concealed wiring for computers, printers, and charging points early in the construction phase so your desk stays clean. ### My Approach to Your Space Whether you need a full turnkey fit-out or a renovation of an existing lobby, I manage the site from the first demolition to the final polish. I do not rely on generic off-the-shelf layouts. I look at your office floor plan and create a waiting area that makes sense for the space you have, using custom carpentry and lighting to highlight your brand colors. ## About Devi's Interior I'm Bhuresh, and I approach every office project as a chance to build something that feels right.
