This same attention to detail is how I approach my coaching, whether we are breaking down a script for a shoot or running drills for a state-level championship. My work starts with a simple premise: if it looks fake, it does not work. When I am consulting on a production like 'Sitaare Zameen Par', I am not just advising; I am on the floor, directing the athletes, fixing the play flow, and ensuring the actors look like they have spent years on the court. It is about bridging the gap between a scripted scene and genuine sports intensity. This philosophy holds true when I am back at the academy in Bandra or prepping a team for a tournament. Coaching is not about giving generic pep talks. It is about understanding the mechanics of a 'hero move' or the defensive structure of a press. My services are built to deliver performance, whether for the camera or the court: * **Film & Commercial Choreography:** I handle script breakdown, action storyboarding, and on-set direction. I make sure the sports logic is sound so the director can focus on the camera. * **Actor Sports Preparation:** If an actor needs to look like a professional basketball player, I build their visual mechanics, stamina, and confidence from scratch. * **High-Performance Coaching:** For my teams and individual athletes, I focus on the 'hard yards'. We analyze opponents, build custom playbooks, and manage match-day strategy for university and state-level teams. If you are looking for someone who understands both the grit of a real game and the technical requirements of a production, let's talk. ## About Sylvan Desmond I have been living and breathing basketball since '99, and I do not believe in shortcuts. Whether we are designing a play for a film scene or prepping a squad for a competitive tournament, my focus stays on technical precision and building genuine confidence.
