For me, it's always been about pushing limits, putting in the hard yards, and never settling for shortcuts. Whether you're a player, actor, or a full team, I believe everyone has a champion inside. Like I say, "Tu Hai Champion" (You are a champion) - but you have to earn it. ### Sports in Film & Media I've worked as a basketball coach and consultant on big film sets, including with Aamir Khan Productions for 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. My job is to make sure what's on screen looks and feels like real sport - not just flashy moves. Sometimes, it's about telling the crew, "thoda low angle laao" (get a bit lower angle) for that extra punch in the shot. My eye is always on the little details that make the action believable. - Sports choreography for movies: I design and direct game scenes for films and ads, so the rules, flow, and intensity come through. - Actor athletic training for film: I coach actors personally, building their skills and confidence so they look like they belong on the court. ### Coaching for Champions When it comes to high-performance basketball coaching, I go deep - advanced tactics, mental prep, and real conditioning. I’ve coached university, state, and semi-pro teams. If you’re serious about competing, I’m in. ### My Style No frills or fake pep talks. I show up, wherever you need me, with one goal: make you or your project look and perform like the real deal. The grind is real, but so is the payoff. ## Highlights Browse through Sylvan Desmond's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/desmondsylvan/professional-sports-consultation-choreography/featured) - [Video: This is me in my element on the set of 'Sitaare Zameen Par' with Aamir Khan Productions. Been coaching since 2003, started playing basketball way back in '99. Watching our kids like Jordan, Kaylyn, Saraswati, and Mridul shine, whether it’s on the field or even in a Hollywood film, gives us real joy. Coaching for 'Sitaare Zameen Par' changed us – those kids inspired our special needs basketball program. At Ring Champions, we believe every child’s got their own magic. Play, grow, have fun – that’s our mantra. ### My work - **Multi-Sport Coaching**: We train kids and adults in basketball, hockey, football, pickleball, athletics. All levels welcome. - **Inclusive Basketball Coaching for Special Needs**: Our Mumbai academy runs a unique basketball program for children with special needs. Everyone gets to play. - **Indoor Basketball Training Bandra**: Rain or shine, our Bandra centers have covered courts so practice never stops, even in monsoon. - **Sports-Themed Events & Parties**: Field Fest Fiesta brings sports fun to birthdays and events. Play, compete, celebrate. - **Champions in the Making**: We focus on hard work, discipline, teamwork. Our players compete at district, state, national levels. ## More services from Sylvan Desmond - [Sports Event Management](https://mytribe.in/desmondsylvan/sports-event-management) · ₹15K-1.2L per event (estimate) - [Pay & Play Court Rental](https://mytribe.in/desmondsylvan/pay-play-court-rental) · ₹1,000-2,000 per hour (estimate) - [Inclusive Sports Coaching](https://mytribe.in/desmondsylvan/inclusive-sports-coaching) · ₹3,000-6,000 per child per month (estimate) - [Multi-Sport Coaching](https://mytribe.in/desmondsylvan/multi-sport-coaching) · ₹2,000-6,000 per person per month per sport (estimate) ## Book To book Sylvan Desmond, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Professional%20Sports%20Consultation%20%26%20Choreography%20by%20Sylvan%20Desmond.)
