I personally inspect for wall moisture and ensure we use a commercial-grade, anti-fungal adhesive mix. If your wall is not prepped correctly—sanded, primed, and dried—even the most expensive imported paper will bubble within a few weeks. Wallpaper installation is not a peel-and-stick job. In Mumbai's humid climate, the wrong adhesive or poor wall preparation will ruin your walls in months. I have seen too many people spend on premium paper only to have it peel or develop fungus because the basics were ignored. ### My Installation Process When I work on a space, I follow a strict protocol to ensure longevity: - **Wall Prep:** We do not skip the sanding and primer coat. This ensures the paper bonds to the wall, not just the loose paint. - **Adhesive Selection:** I use commercial-grade anti-fungal adhesive (CMC + Resin bond) tailored for our humidity. It stops the paper from lifting at the edges. - **Precision Fitting:** For geometric patterns or textured wallpaper, alignment is everything. My team uses professional smoothing squeegees to remove all trapped air without damaging the surface texture. ### Why Quality Matters In the market, you will see many 'cheap' offers, but remember that low prices often mean low-quality materials. Whether it is standard 250 GSM vinyl or high-end 350+ GSM fabric-backed paper, the material must be durable. If you are confused about which paper suits your specific wall—especially for accent walls, kids' rooms, or living areas—let’s talk. I prefer to explain exactly what goes into your wall so you don't face 'fasvegiri' (fraud) later. My goal is to deliver a finish that stays sharp, clean, and bubble-free for years. ## About Design Point Furniture I am Vijay Karande.
