We integrate traditional art forms like Kutch embroidery and Lippan mud work directly into the structural and decorative elements of our projects, such as the Taj Devi Ratn. This creates an environment where guests experience a region’s history through texture and geometry rather than simple displays. Our design methodology centers on the premise that a hotel should function as a bridge between the guest and the local landscape. When working on projects like the Taj Devi Ratn in Jaipur or the Sarovar Portico in Gujarat, we move beyond superficial decoration. Instead, we analyze the local architectural vernacular and translate it into contemporary design languages that meet global brand standards. For example, our use of Lippan work and Kutch embroidery is not just additive; it is ingrained into the honeycomb ceiling patterns and reception backdrops, ensuring that the local spirit is fundamental to the room’s architecture. This requires extensive coordination with specialized vendors and deep technical planning. We balance this cultural storytelling with the practical demands of high-traffic hospitality spaces. We select materials like commercial veneers, Italian marble, and Martindale-tested fabrics to ensure durability alongside visual appeal. Our recognition with the Asia Pacific Hotel Awards for the Taj Devi Ratn is a result of this rigorous process, validating that functional, human-centric design can also be culturally significant. Whether we are planning a resort corridor or a suite’s interior, our goal is to create a seamless environment where the guest feels an immediate, intuitive connection to the location. ## About Designers Group Designers Group has spent over three decades refining a design philosophy rooted in human-centric hospitality. We believe every space must tell a distinct story, connecting guests to the local environment through thoughtful architecture and material precision.
