It was 90 days of on-site work by master painters from Jaipur. This hand-painted process, done directly on walls and ceilings, creates a depth that digital prints never achieve. You are paying for the human imperfections that make a space feel sacred. Design is not about filling space. It is about creating identity. When I approach a project involving hand-painted elements, I think about the stories these walls will tell twenty years from now. I bring in master painters from hubs like Jaipur, who live on-site for months to ensure the work is authentic and responsive to the light and shadow of your room. This level of work is a commitment. For a single room, like a study or a home temple, you should plan for 90 days of on-site labor. My signature room transformation package starts at 12 lakhs. This covers everything from sourcing antique pieces to the daily wages and lodging for the artist team. We are not just decorating. We are building a memory. Whether it is subtle floral motifs on a bedroom ceiling or a bold, narrative-driven mural in your living area, I focus on the connection between the artist and your home. If you have an old piece of furniture that needs to be tied into the room, I often incorporate that into the painting plan. I have spent over 15 years chasing stories in spaces. Travel is my muse. I find that when we lean into the raw, hand-crafted quality of a wall, we stop looking at a house and start looking at a narrative. This is not for everyone. It is for those who value the time it takes to create beauty. I encourage you to share your vision so we can see if our styles align. ## About Darshini I do not believe in mass-produced design. My practice centers on reviving traditional crafts, working directly with master painters to create one-of-a-kind art pieces in your home. Let's build a space that feels deeply personal, rather than just designed.
