## About Commercial Interior Design

### Why I Design Workspaces This Way

I don’t believe your office or clinic has to feel stiff or generic. For me, it’s all about blending your story with the space, so it actually feels lived-in, not showroom-perfect. I keep a lot of the old - maybe even that first chair the boss used - and mix it with new touches. “Old is gold,” as we say, and Mumbai ka (Mumbai’s) small office design means every inch counts.

### How I Work

- I start by getting to know your brand, not just your logo, but the vibe and journey. Brand storytelling interiors is kind of my thing.
- Forget cold boardrooms. I’m all for cozy lounges, nooks for brainstorming, and corners that spark ideas. The best work usually happens outside the conference table.
- I’m obsessed with sourcing antiques and giving them a fresh twist. If you want bespoke office furniture, I’ll work with local karigars (artisans) to get it made, imperfections and all.
- I design for function too - hidden storage, smart layouts, so you don’t lose out on style or practicality.

### What You Get

- Creative hubs with personal cabins and spaces that double up for jam sessions or board meetings.
- Clinics and wellness spaces that feel soothing, with chilled-out waiting lounges and art that pops against calm colors.
- Lobbies that make a statement the second you walk in, mixing classic and modern, with a bit of drama.

I’m hands-on till the end - picking out every piece, staging the final look. My goal is simple: a workspace that’s truly yours, with a little bit of heart and a lot of soul.

## Meet your expert

[Darshini](https://mytribe.in/design_by_darshini)

### My story

Eight years on the AD 100 list, still feels unreal sometimes. I kicked off this design journey 15+ years ago, always chasing stories in spaces. Travel’s my muse, like those wild hydrangeas in Azores, or old walls in Spain, they teach me harmony. Cooking keeps me sane - it’s just like design, mixing, balancing, tasting. Diwali? Pure joy, not just for the show but for the real laughs and memories. That’s what I want my work to give people.

### My work

- **All-in-one design services**: I handle everything - interior architecture, home and office design, heritage renovation, and even custom vanity vans.
- **Spaces with stories**: Design for me is about keeping the soul alive, mixing old charm with modern life, making rooms that truly belong to you.
- **Handcrafted interior details**: I love adding handmade touches - maybe a mural from my travels, or working with karigars (artisans) for real emotion.
- **Design by feeling**: We start with honest chats, not moodboards. I listen, then create spaces that feel right for you.
- **Homes with emotion**: If you want a place that’s more than pretty, full of stories and personality, I’m your person.
