Since we avoid preservatives and refuse to re-use oil, we need just two days' notice for your orders. It’s a small wait, but it means you get that crispy, honest crunch just the way it was meant to be. ### Snacks That Taste Like Home When we started Desi Classics in our Malad kitchen, we weren't trying to build a factory. We were trying to preserve the taste of our nani and dadi’s kitchen. Whether it is our signature Pyaaz Ki Kachori or the unique Sheherwali Kheere Ki Kachori, everything is made with the same ingredients we would use for our own family. **Why our kitchen is different:** * **Freshness First:** No bulk production or frozen stock here. We cook in batches based on orders. If you are planning a small gathering or just a Sunday tea time, reach out two days early. * **Quality Ingredients:** We source top-tier ingredients and never compromise by using cheaper alternatives. You will notice the difference in the freshness of the oil and the quality of the flour. * **Traditional Methods:** From our DIY Katori Chaat kits to our fluffy, steamed Khaman Dhokla, we follow traditional cooking times. Good food, especially Indian snacks, takes patience. **Our Snack Specialities:** * **Jodhpur-Style Kachoris:** Large, crispy, and packed with flavourful fillings. They are perfect for when you want a substantial snack. * **Travel Combos:** Our Missi Poori and Mathri packs are designed for the road. They stay fresh, are mess-free, and bring a touch of home to your travels. * **Chaat Components:** We provide all the elements for you to assemble fresh Katori Chaat at home, ensuring it stays crunchy until the very last bite. We deliver across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. If you have specific dietary needs, like Jain-friendly options, just let us know when you place your order. ## About Desi Classics It started with a late-night chat between me and my mom, trying to save our family's recipes. Today, 'Desi Classics' is just our home kitchen where we cook daily meals and snacks for you with the same love we put into feeding our own family.
