Every single order is a fresh start in our kitchen, which is why we ask for a 2-day lead time. When you read these notes from our community, you are seeing the result of that patience. You get food that has not sat on a shelf, but was prepared just for you. It is always a special moment when a customer tells us our food reminds them of home. We are just a mother and daughter duo working out of our kitchen in Malad West, and we take the feedback we receive very seriously. Our community often mentions the crispiness of our homemade banana chips or the freshness of our daily meals. These reviews are not just words to us. They confirm that our slow recipe approach, where we avoid preservatives and cook in small, manageable batches, is working. Whether you are looking for a box of traditional mithai for a festival or just a few packs of savoury snacks for your chai-time cravings, we prepare everything from scratch. This process takes time, and our policy of requiring 2 days for pre-orders is how we ensure that what reaches your table is as fresh as if it came off our own stove. We deliver across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, and we are grateful for the trust our customers place in us to be part of their daily meals, corporate lunches, and family celebrations. From the feedback, we know our customers love the balance of our spices and the authenticity of our Sheherwali preparations. We often hear from new mothers who rely on our traditional postpartum ladoos for their recovery, or from corporate clients looking for a break from standard catering. Knowing that we play a small part in these milestones is why we keep the kitchen fires burning. If you have been looking for an honest, homemade meal that tastes like it came from a family home rather than a commercial production line, we would love to feed you. ## About Desi Classics It is just me and my mom in the kitchen, turning our nani and dadi’s old recipes into something that hopefully brightens your day. We handle everything from the masala grinding to the final packaging, so you feel that same warmth we grew up with.
