Every order is prepared from scratch using the same patience and high-quality ingredients—like pure ghee and fresh nuts—that we use for our own family festivals. We strictly require a 2-day pre-order window to ensure your snacks and sweets are as fresh as the day they were made. ### Our Approach to Festive Gifting When you celebrate with our food, you are not just buying a box of sweets; you are bringing a bit of our family's heritage to your table. Whether it is Diwali, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, or the quiet reflection of Paryushan, we curate special menus that honour tradition without relying on shortcuts. ### What We Offer * **Customizable Gift Hampers:** From elegant wire baskets to rustic wooden crates, we design our hampers to look as good as they taste. You can mix and match your favourite mithai and snacks, creating a thoughtful gift that feels personal rather than factory-packaged. * **Traditional Mithai & Snacks:** We specialize in recipes passed down from our nani and dadi. Think Nariyal ki Chakki, Gond Saunth Ladoo, and crispy Pyaaz Ki Kachori. Everything is made in small, controlled batches to maintain the 'maa ke haath ka khana' taste. * **Jain-Friendly Options:** We understand the dietary needs for festivals like Paryushan. Our menu includes dedicated Jain-friendly snacks and desserts, prepared with the same care and attention to detail as our regular offerings. ### Why Pre-Ordering Matters We avoid preservatives and artificial colours. This means our shelf life is natural, and our flavours are authentic. By pre-ordering at least 48 hours in advance, you allow us the time to source the best seasonal ingredients and prepare your order without rushing the process. We deliver across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, ensuring that even on your busiest festive days, you have access to fresh, homemade food. Let us handle the kitchen work so you can focus on making memories with your loved ones. ## About Desi Classics I started Desi Classics with my mom to keep our nani and dadi's recipes alive. When you order for a festival, you aren't just getting a box of sweets; you're getting the same food we prepare for our own family celebrations, made with patience and zero shortcuts.
