We received it because we refused to rush the process. When you taste our Nihari or Korma, you are eating meat that has been simmering in secret spices for hours, not minutes. That is the only way we know how to cook, and it is the only way we will ever serve you. We didn't start with a boardroom plan. We started in the bustling galliyan of Jama Masjid with a simple dream: to bring real, slow-cooked Mughlai zaika to Mumbai. For us, food is not just business. It is heritage. When you eat our Mutton Korma or Chicken Changezi, you are tasting recipes that have been passed down through generations of Old Delhi’s master chefs. We hold onto these techniques because they cannot be replicated in a commercial pressure cooker. It requires patience, the right heat, and the right masalas. Being named 'Iconic Luxury Restaurant' by Mid-Day was a moment of pride for us, but the real recognition happens every day in the kitchen. It happens when a customer tells us that the Nihari took them back to a memory, or when a family trusts us to handle the catering for their wedding or Eid feast. We treat every order, whether it is for a table of two or a catering banquet for hundreds, with the same respect. This is why we focus on 'real' food. We don't do shortcuts, we don't use fillers, and we don't change our recipes to suit mass production. Whether it is our signature Qurbani meat preparation or our daily dinner service, our kitchen remains a place where traditional Mughlai flavors are preserved. Thank you for being a part of our story and letting us bring a piece of Delhi to your home. ## About Delhi Zaika We are the team behind Delhi Zaika, obsessed with bringing the real taste of Old Delhi to your table.
