My Hapkido sessions focus on the mechanics of joint locks and throws, teaching you how to use an opponent’s momentum against them. It is the missing piece for anyone who wants to turn flashy moves into practical, real-world self-defence. While Taekwondo gives you the reach and speed, Hapkido completes the fighter. At my academy, Hapkido training is practical and hands-on. We work on joint manipulation, grappling, and throw mechanics—techniques that are essential if you are ever in a situation where distance is not an option. ### Why add Hapkido to your training? * **Versatility:** You learn to handle close-quarters combat. If someone gets too close to land a kick, you need the locks and throws that Hapkido provides. * **Real-World Confidence:** It is not just about points on a scoreboard. We drill these moves so they become muscle memory, giving you the focus and strength to stay calm under pressure. * **Competitive Edge:** My students are already winning medals at the National Hapkido Championships. I push for the same discipline here as I do in my Taekwondo batches—intensive practice, strict form, and relentless effort. Expect sweat, discipline, and a lot of repetition. My classes are not for people who want to look like they are training; they are for people who want the skills to actually fight. Whether you are prepping for a national championship or just want to feel genuinely secure, this is where you start. ## About Sonu I am Sonu, and I do not just teach martial arts—I build champions. My students are my family, and seeing them grab gold at national championships is the only validation I need. If you are ready to put in the hard work, I will ensure you walk away with real strength and discipline.
