It gives me a front-row seat to the specific competition standards that matter at state and national levels. When I am back in the academy with my students, I pass on that insider knowledge. You are not just learning kicks here, you are learning exactly what judges look for in your stance, your power, and your evasion. There is a big difference between teaching Taekwondo from a textbook and teaching it from the center of the ring. My experience as a certified referee for state and national games means I see the mistakes fighters make under pressure every single day. I bring those lessons back to the Tughlakabad Extension academy. ### What Training with Me Looks Like When you or your child joins my sessions, you get more than just a workout. We focus on the core values of discipline, strength, and focus. * **Real Competition Insight:** Because I officiate at championships, I teach my students the Olympic-style sparring rules and electronic scoring awareness early. We train for real-world results. * **Technique Over Speed:** I emphasize correct footwork and precise blocks first. Speed comes naturally once your foundation is solid. * **A Culture of Hard Work:** As I always say, *Virasat mein mehanat milee hain* (I have inherited hard work). We do not look for shortcuts. We put in the 5 days a week of effort needed to progress from white belt to black belt. ### Who Is This For? Whether you are an adult looking for practical self-defense or a parent wanting your child to build confidence and fitness, you fit right in. We run small, focused batches (12 to 20 students) so everyone gets personal attention. We use proper protective gear, 25mm EVA foam mats for safety, and keep the environment supportive.
