We spent three years working with manufacturers to get the heel angle and suede grip exactly right for Indian studio floors. When you come for a fitting at our Kalkaji studio, we do not just sell you a box; we make sure the T-strap locks your ankle in place so you can focus on your footwork, not your footwear. We know the struggle of finding proper Latin dance shoes in Delhi. Most options online are either too stiff, lack the right grip, or fall apart after a month of intense social dancing. After years of testing and factory back-and-forth, we launched our own 'Spinza' heels because our students needed gear that could actually keep up with our ‘Street of Salsa’ nights. ### Why the Tech Matters These heels feature a 2.5 to 2.75-inch flared base. A flared heel is crucial—it widens the surface area touching the floor, giving you the stability needed for sharp spins and complex shines. The T-strap design is not just aesthetic; it secures the arch, ensuring the shoe moves with your foot, not against it. ### The Grip Factor We use chrome suede soles. This is the gold standard for indoor Latin dancing because it allows you to slide smoothly while maintaining just enough traction to pivot safely on wooden studio floors without stressing your knees. ### The Fitting Process We do not believe in blind online ordering for dance gear. Sizing for dance shoes is different from street shoes. When you visit our Kalkaji studio, we provide an in-person fitting trial. You get to test them out on our floors, ensuring the fit is snug and the balance is perfect. These shoes are strictly for indoor use—keep them off the asphalt—and they are built to last through endless practice sessions. Whether you are a beginner learning your first On1 patterns or a seasoned pro tearing up the dance floor, these shoes are designed to survive the madness. ## About Delhi Salsa Club We are Delhi Salsa Club, or just DSC to our family. We live for salsa, and we built these shoes because we were tired of seeing our students struggle with gear that didn't hold up. Come by our Kalkaji studio to try them on and feel the difference for yourself.
