I am a Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, and teacher who treats performance as a form of inquiry. Through storytelling, I explore themes from mythology and literature to contemporary social issues, connecting the past to our present.

## Meet your expert

### My story

You know, people get confused when I say I’m crazy about math and history. But dance is where it all mixes up for me - it’s my way to connect ideas, make sense of life. I’m always tweaking steps, even last minute, and honestly, some days I just want to crash. But dance gives me purpose, it’s my pehchaan. I’m a sucker for handloom sarees and adrak chai, and backstage moments with friends are pure gold. My soul? It’s like an orchestra, and dance is me trying to hear every instrument inside.

### My work

- **Bharatanatyam performances & choreography**: I perform solo and with my group, create new thematic Bharatanatyam choreography for events.
- **Storytelling through dance**: I explore stories from mythology, Sangam poetry, and even themes like climate crisis in my productions.
- **Workshops & teaching**: I run Bharatanatyam workshops for beginners and regular classes, sharing what I’ve learnt as an eternal student.
- **Collaboration & teamwork**: Every show is a team effort - I love working with fellow dancers, musicians, and artists to create something real.
