## About Mastering Partner Work

You do not need to bring a partner to learn partner dancing. We rotate everyone in the class, so you will get to practice leading or following with different people in the room. This builds your confidence quickly, and it's also how we ensure you learn to communicate through rhythm and physical cues rather than just memorizing steps.

### Building the Connection

Partner work is the foundation of Latin dance. Whether you are learning Salsa or Bachata, the goal is the same: learning to signal your intent and understand your partner's movement. In our classes at Safdarjung Enclave, we focus on the 'lead and follow' technique. This is not about force; it is about clear tension, frame, and listening to the music together.

### What We Practice

We break down complex patterns into simple, manageable pieces:

*   **Rhythm & Footwork:** We start with the basics to ensure your feet know where to go before we add the complexity of a partner.
*   **Frame & Tension:** This is the invisible string that connects you. We work on maintaining a solid frame so your signals are clear and effortless.
*   **Turn Patterns:** From simple cross-body leads to more intricate combinations, we practice these until they feel like second nature.
*   **Musicality:** Understanding the beat changes how you move. We teach you to listen to the song and react, not just count.
