The creaminess comes purely from the slow reduction of milk and quality rice, finished with slivered almonds for that authentic crunch. It is light, simple, and the perfect way to wrap up a lunch or dinner, just like my own family prefers it. ### The Art of Homemade Sweets Dessert at DefCol Rasoi isn't about fancy garnishes or expensive presentation. It is about the comfort of slow-cooked flavors. **Slow-Cooked Rice Kheer** My Kheer is a labor of patience. I use premium Basmati rice and full-fat milk, slow-cooking it for hours until it reaches that thick, natural consistency. I never add artificial cream or heavy sweeteners. The sugar is balanced, ensuring it is sweet without being overpowering. It is prepared in small pots to maintain quality, so it tastes exactly like it came off a stovetop at home. **Homemade Chocolates** These are for those who prefer quality over mass-produced candy. I hand-chop the almonds to ensure you get a solid crunch in every bite, then temper the chocolate with care to get that perfect snap. These aren't just for festive gifting; they are a quick, indulgent treat for when you crave something better than what is available in a standard grocery store. **Delivery & Availability** Whether you are in Defence Colony, Greater Kailash, or anywhere within 10km of South Delhi, I ensure these reach you fresh. Because everything is made in small batches, please let me know a day in advance for larger quantities so I can prepare them with the attention they deserve. If you have a specific craving or need a dessert customized for a small party, just reach out. ## About DefCol Rasoi I am Sneha, and for me, cooking is personal. Whether I am bubbling milk for Kheer or tempering chocolate for a fresh batch, I ensure every treat is something I would happily serve at my own dining table.
