Whether it is the intricate French knots or tribal-inspired motifs on Tassar silk, my embroidery is never just an accent; it is carefully placed to enhance the drape and flow of each garment. For me, embroidery is the bridge between our rich textile heritage and the demands of modern style. I rely on traditional methods like floral French knots and motifs drawn from tribal art to bring a unique character to every garment. My work often features these details on structured Tassar Matka or linen, creating a deliberate contrast between the texture of the fabric and the precision of the needlework. The placement of these details is intentional. Rather than crowding a piece, I look for balance, letting the embroidery act as a focal point on an asymmetrical tunic or along the lapels of an overcoat. This approach ensures that the garment retains its fluidity and ease while offering a visually rich experience.
