I kind of stumbled into oil portrait painting, and now it's an obsession. Sometimes, I mess up or doubt my color choices, but experimenting with shades and textures is actually the best part, even though it takes a lot of patience. Sabr rakh, woh sabki sunta hai (have patience, He listens to everyone) - I keep reminding myself that. ### What I Offer - I paint custom portraits from your photographs, aiming for realism and emotion. - I love doing individual and realistic family portrait oil paintings, especially the tiny details in wedding attire or jewelry. - If your pet is basically family, I get it - pet oil painting from photo is something I genuinely enjoy, capturing their weird quirks and cuteness. - Spiritual vibes? I also make custom spiritual oil artwork - from Krishna to Buddha, sometimes with embellishments like kundan stones. ### My Process I start with prepping the canvas, sketching with a grid for accuracy, and then build up layers using good quality paints. The process is slow, and honestly, it’s not for those who want instant results. Every brushstroke is kind of a meditation, and I never rush it. ### Why It Matters A handmade wedding oil portrait or any custom piece isn’t just a wall decoration. It’s a memory, a feeling, and sometimes, the best gift you can give for anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, or just because. ## Highlights Browse through Deepanjali's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/deepartworkss/custom-oil-portrait-painting/featured) - [Video: A custom wedding portrait is more than a painting; it's the story of a cherished moment captured forever on canvas. Oil painting wasn’t easy for me at first, but now, yaar, I can’t stop! Mixing those colors, watching faces appear on canvas, that’s my happy place. Sometimes I’m stuck for 48 hours on a single painting, but when I’m in my little art bubble, nothing else matters. Portraits in oil just feel like magic, and honestly, it’s total therapy for me. ### My work - **Custom Oil Paintings**: I make portraits in oil on canvas—people, pets, even spiritual figures like Krishna or Buddha. - **Realistic & Detailed Style**: I focus on realistic oil portraits, capturing tiny details like eyes, fur, and even tricky jewellery. - **Painting as Therapy**: It’s a slow, therapeutic art process for me. Hours just blending colors, bringing blank canvas to life. - **Inspired by Emotions & Imperfection**: Emotions, people, imperfect beauty inspire me. Love painting portraits, but landscapes and random ideas sneak in too. ## Book To book Deepanjali, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Custom%20Oil%20Portrait%20Painting%20by%20Deepanjali.)
