## About Elegant Updos & Buns

These sleek topknots and buns rely on precise product application to achieve a polished, 'wet-look' finish that stays in place all day. Whether it is a red-carpet event or a reception, the secret to a great updo is balancing the tightness of the base with soft, face-framing strands that keep the look feeling light and youthful, not stiff or heavy.

Creating the perfect updo is a technical craft. For my signature sleek looks, I work with high-quality styling products like the Schwarzkopf Osis+ range to ensure the hair holds without losing its natural movement. 

### Why the right Updo matters
An updo is not just about keeping hair out of your face—it is about highlighting your features. A high, sleek topknot can elongate the neck and draw attention to your jewelry and neckline, while a voluminous, textured bun can soften your face shape. 

### My Approach to Styling
- **Precision Base:** The foundation is always about clean sectioning and proper texture prep.
- **Face Framing:** I always leave out delicate strands to frame the face, ensuring the look stays soft and 'undone' rather than severe.
- **The Finishing Touch:** Accessories like gold serpentine clips or fresh flowers can transform a simple bun into a piece of art.
