## About Ombre, Glitter & Bling

A lot of people worry that all this glitter and heavy stone work means the nails won't last, but I use a heavy-duty overlay technique—especially for weddings—that locks everything in place. Whether you’re going for a subtle chrome fade or full-on 3D crystal work, the goal is for the design to feel as secure as it looks.

Getting the perfect ombre or bling set is all about the layers. For a clean ombre, I focus on the transition—blending two colors seamlessly so there’s no harsh line. If you’re eyeing the glitter and bling styles, I make sure the placement is balanced so it doesn't get bulky.

We use specific UV curing for these thicker designs, which ensures the glitter stays vibrant and the crystals don't pop off within a couple of days. I see so many clients in Malad come in before weddings or festivals wanting something extra. For these events, I usually suggest embedding glitter inside the acrylic or gel rather than just topping it off, so it stays smooth and doesn't catch on your clothes or heavy jewelry.

If you’re choosing a heavy crystal design, think about your daily routine. We can go for full-finger coverage or just subtle accent nails, depending on what you’re comfortable with. These styles are meant to shine, so don't be afraid to mix your textures—chrome, glitter, and stones actually look amazing together when balanced right.
