Most of these pieces are born during nap times or late-night coding breaks. When you commission a mural, you are not just getting a painting. You are getting a slice of that focus and the quiet moments I snatch in between my 'Boy Mom' duties. It is messy, real, and always a work in progress. ### Where the Magic Happens People often ask how I manage to balance a tech career with painting murals. The truth is, my art lives in the margins of my day. If you look closely at my workspace, you will see a mix of professional-grade acrylics sitting next to stray baby toys and sketchbooks. This duality is exactly what makes my work personal. I don't paint in a sterile, silent room; I paint in the same space where my family lives, which infuses every mural with a sense of warmth and home. ### My Process: From Sketch to Wall I believe the best results come from collaboration and transparency. Here is how I usually approach a new mural project: * **The Chat:** We start by discussing your vibe. Whether you want a Pichwai-inspired lotus or a modern abstract piece, I need to understand your space. * **The Rough Draft:** I sketch the design directly on the wall. This is a crucial step because it lets you see the scale and composition before I touch a single brush to the surface. * **The Execution:** I use premium heavy-body acrylics for vibrant, long-lasting color. Every piece is protected with a varnish coat, ensuring your wall stays fresh even in a busy Bangalore household. ### Why Hand-Painted Matters There is an energy in a hand-painted wall that a print or wallpaper simply cannot replicate. The brushstrokes, the slight imperfections, and the depth of the layers tell a story. Whether it is a feature wall for your living room or a meditative corner for your yoga space, I pour the same heart into it that I do when I am sketching during my son’s nap time. ## About Debolina Majumdar Yadav I'm Debolina, and my world is a mix of lines of code and brush strokes.
