They are raw, immediate reactions to life around me. Whether I am stuck in Bangalore traffic or grabbing a quick tea, I reach for my Lilorosh sketchbook and Mijello Mission paints to freeze the moment. If you want a piece of art that feels like an authentic slice of daily life, this is where it starts. My sketchbook is my constant companion. It does not matter if I am travelling to Pondicherry or just sitting on my balcony with a cup of tea; if a moment strikes me, I paint it. ### Why Daily Sketches Matter Most of my work here is 'plein air' or 'on the go'. This means you are seeing the result of spontaneity. When I sketched the banana seller in his shop or the auto-rickshaw driver in front of me, I had to work fast before the scene changed. This speed gives the paintings a loose, vibrant energy that you cannot replicate in a long studio session. ### My Process I am not precious about these journals. I use high-quality materials like Arches paper and Mijello Mission pigments because I want them to last, but the subject matter is always humble. It might be a mango cheesecake from Glen’s Bakehouse, a bag of bread from my Sunday breakfast, or a snippet of my own garden. ### Can I sketch your memory? Yes. If you have a specific travel memory, a view from your childhood home, or a daily habit you want to preserve on paper, I can do that. I bring the same approach to your commissions that I use for my own journals—focusing on the feeling of the place rather than just the lines. You tell me the story behind the photo, and I will capture the soul of it on 300GSM professional paper. It is about turning the 'ordinary' into something you can hold onto. Let’s make something beautiful out of your memories. ## About Debolina Majumdar Yadav I’m Debolina. Artist, software engineer, and full-time mom to Yuvan. My life is a chaotic, beautiful mix of code and crayons, and I capture the messy reality of it all in my sketchbooks. If you see a sketch here that speaks to you, I’d love to help you turn your own favorite memories into a similar piece of art. 🌸 [See all of Debolina Majumdar Yadav's services](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102) ## More from Custom & Commissioned Artwork by Debolina Majumdar Yadav - [Featured](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/featured) - [Indian Deities & Spiritual Art](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/indian-deities-spiritual-art) - [Custom Portraits: Your Story in Watercolor](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/custom-portraits-your-story-in-watercolor) - [Nostalgic Illustrations: Homes & Memories](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/nostalgic-illustrations-homes-memories) - [Fandom & Pop Culture Commissions](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/fandom-pop-culture-commissions) - [Portraits of India: Faces & Figures](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/portraits-of-india-faces-figures) - [Landscapes & Cityscapes of India](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/landscapes-cityscapes-of-india) - [Nature's Palette: Florals & Fauna](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/nature-s-palette-florals-fauna) - [My Creative World: Studio, Process & Exhibitions](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-commissioned-artwork/my-creative-world-studio-process-exhibitions) ## More services by Debolina Majumdar Yadav - [Custom Murals](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/custom-murals) - [Original Art for Sale](https://mytribe.in/debolina_majumdar0102/original-art-for-sale) ## Similar work from other experts - [My Personal Sketchbook & Urban Art Journal](https://mytribe.in/dikshitaartstudio/art-workshops-and-classes/my-personal-sketchbook) by Dikshita Jain · Art Workshops and Classes · Online classes; Workshops at Noida studio, NCR, and Indore - [My Sketchbook Stories](https://mytribe.in/youknowhertoo/art-workshops-classes/my-sketchbook-stories) by Divya Bhatia · Art Workshops & Classes · Online & in-person workshops across Mumbai; Studio in Goregaon West - [Travel Sketchbook: Capturing Memories & Stories in Watercolour](https://mytribe.in/a_new_pama/custom-artwork-murals/travel-sketchbook-painting-the-world-one-page-at-a-time) by Anupama · Custom Artwork & Murals · Travels for mural projects across Delhi NCR and pan-India - [My Travel & Food Sketchbook](https://mytribe.in/the_moonwake/art-prints-merchandise/my-travel-food-sketchbook) by Rachita Burjupati · Art Prints & Merchandise · Ships products across Bengaluru & India - [Doodling Delhi: My Urban Sketching Journal & Daily Art Adventures](https://mytribe.in/artistic_galleria/art-classes/my-art-journal-doodling-delhi-daily-life) by Prerna · Art Classes · Online classes and in-person workshops across NCR - [My Travel Sketchbook: Hand-Drawn Memories in Ink and Watercolor](https://mytribe.in/color_addicct/custom-portraits-illustrations/my-travel-sketchbook) by Kalaa Rahasya · Custom Portraits & Illustrations · Available Online; Ships across India ## Book To book Debolina Majumdar Yadav, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%20Debolina!%20Loved%20your%20travel%20and%20daily%20life%20sketches%20on%20mytribe.%20I'm%20interested%20in%20getting%20a%20custom%20sketch%20done%20of%20a%20personal%20memory.%20Are%20you%20open%20for%20commissions%3F)
