During our sessions, we start with the fundamentals—how you sit and hold your hands—before moving into the traditional kaidas and rhythmic tisra jati cycles passed down from my Guruji. The Farukhabad Gharana is known for its melodic, ringing quality. When I teach, I focus on the connection between the bols (syllables) and the physical movement required to produce them. We start by building a strong foundation, ensuring your hand placement is correct to avoid strain and improve sound. Whether you are a beginner looking to understand the basics of Teentaal or an intermediate student wanting to master complex compositions, we follow a path that respects the tradition.
