Many parents worry that heavily themed cakes taste too sugary or artificial, but my recipes ensure the cake inside stays soft and fresh while the character art on top captures exactly what your child is currently obsessed with. Creating a themed cake is about capturing a specific moment in your child's life. Whether they are currently obsessed with Boss Baby, Paw Patrol, or a classic fairytale, I work to make sure the visual design is spot-on. ### My Approach to Kids' Themed Cakes My method is different because I do not compromise on the base. While fondant is great for sculpting characters and sharp details, I keep the cake beneath it light with fresh whipped cream. This means you get the best of both worlds: a showstopping centerpiece for photos and a dessert that kids actually want to finish. ### Full Party Coordination I often coordinate the entire dessert spread for birthdays. This means matching your main cake with cupcakes, cakepops, or even personalized return gift hampers. If you have a specific vision, like a carnival theme or a mix of their favorite characters, just let me know. I can create a cohesive look that ties the whole party decor together. ### Planning Your Order * **Lead Time:** Because these designs require detailed hand-sculpting, I recommend booking at least 3 to 4 days in advance. * **Customization:** Share the theme, the child's age, and any specific characters they love. I can incorporate names, edible prints, and custom toppers to make it personal. * **Delivery:** I am based in Borivali West and deliver across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, ensuring your cake arrives ready for the party. If you are unsure about flavor combinations, I usually recommend sticking to classics like chocolate or vanilla sponge, which pair perfectly with the whipped cream frosting most kids love. ## About Divya Chheda I’m Divya, and for me, baking for kids is the highlight of my week.
