I keep a rotating selection of brownies, tub pastries, and cupcakes stocked at my partner store, Radha Krishna Foods in Borivali West. It is the perfect spot for a quick, fresh dessert fix or to get a feel for my flavors before you order a custom centerpiece for a bigger celebration. My journey as a home baker in Mumbai has been a wild ride. It started as a simple passion for creating something beautiful, but it quickly grew into DC Designer Cakes. Being named among the Top 10 Homebakers in Mumbai and receiving the Hastaksharr Award for Best Baker have been incredible milestones, but my true motivation remains the same: watching people smile when they see their cake. ### The Whipped Cream Difference I am a firm believer that a cake should taste as light as it looks. That is why I specialize in whipped cream cakes rather than heavy alternatives. Whether you are looking for a tiered wedding cake or a whimsical illusion cake, I use techniques that keep the sponge soft and the frosting airy. It works for everything from intricate fondant details to bold, themed birthday designs. ### Customizing Your Story Every event has a different vibe, and I love creating desserts that match. I have made everything from Peppa Pig themes for toddlers to sophisticated hampers for office events. If you have a specific vision—maybe a favorite character, a color palette, or even a heartfelt message in Marathi or Hindi—I will find a way to pipe or sculpt it into your dessert. ### Practical Details - **Freshness:** Everything made to order is baked shortly before your event. If you need something urgently, the stock at my Borivali West partner store is your best bet. - **Dietary Needs:** My eggless macarons and many of my other treats are designed with vegetarian requirements in mind, making them safe for family gatherings. - **Collaborations:** If you have a theme in mind, feel free to send over reference photos. I enjoy the process of turning an idea into an edible reality. ## About Divya Chheda I am Divya, and I view every cake I bake as a piece of art rather than just a dessert.
