Whether it is a student’s first time on silks or someone mastering a challenging hoop transition, we keep the stage open for everyone who wants to share their progress with a supportive crowd. It is about getting stronger together and enjoying the thrill of performing for friends. For me, the most rewarding part of teaching aerial arts is watching the community grow. The student showcases are the highlight of this journey. We host these events at our training spaces, including The Boulderbox in Vasant Kunj and Grip&Grab in Saket, specifically to give students a low-pressure environment to share what they have been working on. ### Why We Perform Performance is a personal choice, not a requirement. Some students join my classes just for the fitness and strength gains, while others catch the performance bug early. These showcases serve as a gentle nudge to push past comfort zones. You might be working on your first clean climb on the silks or perfecting a static pose on the lyra (hoop); performing brings those technical skills into a creative context. ### What to Expect These events are raw and real. You will see: * **Aerial Silks Acts:** Ranging from beginner climbs to drops and wraps. * **Hoop Choreography:** Focusing on spins, transitions, and dynamic movement. * **Supportive Atmosphere:** Our audience is composed of fellow students, friends, and family who are there to cheer, not to judge. If you are looking to join a community that takes training seriously but keeps the vibe friendly, this is where it happens. We maintain a focus on safe technique, proper rigging, and individual style, ensuring every performer feels confident in their body’s capabilities before they hit the stage. ## About Dasha Fogel I’m Dasha. For me, teaching isn't just about technical drills; it’s about watching my students find their own voice in the air. These showcases are my favorite moments—seeing someone who was nervous about their first climb suddenly performing with confidence is why I do this.
