When we start a living room project, I look at your space's actual flow. Whether you need a curved sofa to fit an awkward corner or a specific wood finish to match your existing decor, we sketch it out first. You approve the 3D renders before my team touches a single piece of raw wood, so what you see in the design is exactly what lands in your home. ### From Raw Wood to Finished Piece I believe the best furniture starts with the right foundation. In my Vasai workshop, we start with treated hardwood frames and high-density foam that prevents sagging. When you commission a living room set with me, you are getting a piece that prioritizes structural integrity over speed. We use Teak and Ashwood for visible parts, ensuring the grains and textures look beautiful for years, not just months. ### My Process - **Sketch & Render:** Bring me a napkin doodle or a Pinterest link. I convert it into a 3D model so we can verify dimensions and proportions before we cut the wood. - **Production:** My team handles the cutting, sanding, and upholstery in-house. I personally oversee the joinery, which means you won't find shortcuts like hidden stapled gaps or flimsy plywood structures where solid wood should be. - **Quality Check:** No piece leaves the studio without my approval. If it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't get shipped. ### What I Specialize In - **Custom Sofas:** From minimal straight-line designs to complex curved seating for offices or homes, I build the internal framework to support the shape perfectly. - **Statement Coffee Tables:** Whether you want a live-edge slab, marble top, or veneer finish, I build the base to match the weight and style of the surface. - **Functional Daybeds:** Often overlooked, these are my favorite pieces to carve and assemble, especially when they need to double as guest seating. Whether you are a homeowner in Mumbai or an architect planning a commercial lounge, I work with you to ensure the furniture fits your space accurately. ## About Darsh Designs I am the one overseeing every cut and polish in my Vasai workshop. My philosophy is simple: back to basics with raw wood and honest tools, creating pieces meant to last longer than the trends.
