We rely on traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery and 40D high-density foam because furniture should be built to last, not just to look good for a season. Whether it is a solid teak dining table or a cane-backed armchair, we inspect every detail before it leaves our floor. ### From Raw Wood to Finished Piece We do not just assemble furniture; we build it. Our process at Darsh Designs begins with a sketch or a reference image you provide, which we then turn into 3D renderings to ensure dimensions are perfect. ### Why Our Process Works * **Material Selection:** We primarily work with seasoned CP Teak and Ash wood. These are chosen for their durability and grain structure, which react well to the humid Mumbai climate when treated correctly. * **Traditional Joinery:** We avoid shortcuts. Using mortise-and-tenon joinery with industrial adhesives ensures that chairs and tables remain wobble-free years after they are delivered. * **Comfort Engineering:** For our sofas and daybeds, we use a mix of elastic webbing and zigzag springs, topped with high-resilience foam to prevent sagging. ### Our Specialties * **Dining & Seating:** From live-edge dining tables with heavy-duty metal or wood bases to custom armchairs with natural cane weaving. * **Bedroom Solutions:** We build custom wardrobes, bed frames, and TV consoles that maximize storage without cluttering your space. * **Commercial & Home:** While we love working with homeowners to build the perfect dining set, we also partner with architects and restaurant owners for projects that require higher durability and specific volume production. Everything is manufactured in our Vasai facility, allowing us to maintain strict quality control. If you have an idea, let us talk about how to build it. ## About Darsh Designs I founded Darsh Designs because I love the sound of a grinder and the aroma of fresh wood polish. My team and I build everything from scratch in our Vasai workshop, and I personally inspect every single piece before it leaves our floor.
