## About Timeless Floral Buns

A floral bun has to do more than look pretty; it has to be a solid anchor. I build these styles to support the weight of heavy dupattas and matha pattis, so you are not constantly checking your reflection or worrying about it slipping. It is about balancing the structure so you can actually move and enjoy your day.

My approach to the classic floral bun is simple: it needs to last as long as the party does. Whether you want a traditional look with deep red roses or something soft and modern using baby’s breath and chrysanthemums, the technique remains the same. I start by crimping and prepping the base to give the pins something to hold onto.

If you are planning to wear a heavy bridal dupatta or intricate jewelry like a matha patti, tell me beforehand. I factor the weight and placement of these pieces into the structural design of the bun. I have worked with various hair textures and, honestly, if your hair is naturally frizzy, a sleek, structured bun is often a better, lower-maintenance choice than forcing an open style.

I source the flowers and accessories to match your outfit and venue vibe. I am based in Kolkata and Delhi, but I travel across India for destination weddings.
