## About Semi-Classical & Expressive Dance

Think beyond just learning steps. In these sessions, we focus heavily on abhinaya, which is the art of facial expression. You won't just move to the music here. We teach you how to tell the story of the song, whether it is a devotional piece or a high-energy Bollywood track. It is the real difference between just executing a routine and actually owning your performance.

### Finding Your Expression

Semi-classical dance is a beautiful middle ground. It allows students to take the technical discipline of Kathak and apply it to the emotional depth of modern music. At our Paschim Vihar studio, we don't believe in shortcuts. You will spend time on your mudras, your hand placements, and your posture, because that foundation is what gives you the freedom to express yourself later.

### Practical Details

We keep our batches small, with 8 to 12 students. This is a deliberate choice so we can provide individual corrections on your alignment. If you cannot make it to the studio in Paschim Vihar, our hybrid model allows you to join via Google Meet without losing out on that same technical feedback. Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced dancer looking to add some grace to your movement, you will find your rhythm here.
