If I cannot find the exact shade or a specific neon sign locally, I source it from Bangalore, Coimbatore, or UP to get it right. It is not just about the setup time on the day; it is about ensuring your ceremony runs exactly as you imagined without any last-minute surprises. ### How I Approach Baby Celebrations I believe a celebration is only successful when the family is truly happy and stress-free. For **modern baby showers**, I focus on "Instagrammable" moments—organic balloon arches, custom neon signs like 'Oh Baby', and themed props that look great in your photos. We use a mix of 5-inch to 12-inch balloons in pastel or chrome finishes to ensure the decor looks premium and stands out. ### Traditional Rituals and Naming Ceremonies When it comes to **Valaikappu** or traditional **cradle ceremonies** (thottil), I lean into the classics. This includes fresh jasmine garlands, marigolds, and beautifully decorated wooden cradles. I ensure the backdrop uses traditional colors like yellow and maroon with pleated fabric, providing a respectful and festive setting for your rituals. ### Quality Over Everything You will find decorators who offer cheaper rates, but I prioritize quality materials because I know how these setups affect the final look. - **Backdrops:** I use wrinkle-free fabric that stays crisp throughout your event. - **Lighting:** I use professional LED PAR lights to ensure the stage is well-lit for photography. - **Special Effects:** For those wanting a grand entry, I can arrange smoke effects or indoor cold pyro sparklers, provided we have the necessary permissions from your venue or building management. Whether you are hosting at a banquet hall or in your own home in Bengaluru, my goal is to manage the logistics so you can focus on your family. Let’s create a space that feels personal, joyful, and just right for your baby's first big celebration. ## About Dhriti Santhosh I am the person behind DS Events, and for me, every baby celebration is personal.
