Our approach combines a strict 1:12 coach-to-student ratio in academy sessions with competitive, referee-led tournaments like the Junior Fives League and JBL, ensuring every athlete receives consistent development, medical support, and fair officiating on the field. At D5 Sports, our focus is on providing a realistic, professional-grade environment for young football and basketball players. Whether you are looking for long-term skill development or competitive tournament exposure, our programs are designed to mimic a professional sporting career. ### The Academy Pathway Our academy programs operate at premium hubs like NPS and MAHE. We maintain small groups with a 1:12 coach-to-student ratio, which allows our certified trainers to provide specific technical feedback. We track progress through quarterly assessments, focusing on physical conditioning and game intelligence, not just basic drills. For athletes showing potential, we maintain a scouting process to promote talent toward our Elite Squads. ### Competitive Leagues Our tournament structure, including the Junior Fives League (J5L) and the Junior Basketball League (JBL), is built on transparency. Every match is run by official association referees, eliminating the uncertainty often found in youth matches. We prioritize safety by ensuring physiotherapy and medical teams like Sportify are pitch-side, allowing players to focus entirely on their performance. ### Community and Growth Sport is a tool for development beyond the field. Through initiatives like #GoalsBeyondGoals, we encourage our athletes to participate in community-focused activities. We believe this balance of fierce competition and social responsibility creates more well-rounded athletes who are ready for the next stage of their sporting journey. ## About D5 Sports We are D5 Sports, and we are here to build the next generation of athletes. We believe every kid deserves a professional environment—from the well-maintained turf they play on to the official referees on the field.
