When I take squads to Coorg or host tournaments at venues like MAHE, it is about getting players out of their comfort zone so they learn to handle different surfaces, weather, and unfamiliar opponents. Growth happens when the stakes get real. While routine training sessions at NPS or Sarjapur keep skills sharp, true athletic development requires variety. ### Why Exposure Trips Matter Exposure trips, like our tours to Coorg, provide more than just travel. Athletes learn to manage their recovery, bond with teammates away from home, and compete against unfamiliar styles of play. These trips strip away the safety of home-court advantage, forcing players to rely on their fundamentals and mental toughness. I design these as a holistic experience, ensuring players develop independence alongside their physical speed and tactical awareness. ### Accessing Professional Venues The quality of your training surface directly impacts your game. I curate our partnerships with venues like the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) because they offer professional standards—from synthetic turf to rubberized basketball courts. Playing at these locations provides a realistic preview of what competitive, high-level sports feel like. We manage the logistics, safety protocols, and medical standby, so players focus entirely on the game. ### My Approach to Facilities * **Surface Variety:** We rotate between turf and hard courts to build versatile footwork. * **Safety Standards:** All tournament venues and trip locations undergo rigorous safety checks for first aid and medical access. * **Skill Audit:** If you are unsure which level of league or academy training suits you, we conduct one-on-one diagnostic sessions to assess your current performance against academy standards. We bridge the gap between recreational weekend play and serious sports development. If you are ready for a higher level of competition, let's discuss your next step. ## About D5 Sports We are D5 Sports. I run these programs to get kids into real competitive environments, whether that means a high-stakes league at a top Bangalore campus or a challenging away trip to sharpen their mental game.
